Starz Restaurant @ RWS

Sorry to the fans that were reading my old food blog because I had not been updating as often as I would like to.

Food: 8
Lacks the variety as they tried to put a little of everything in. However the quality of the food is able to make up the shortfall and push up the final score. The ice-cream corner serves only Italian fruity sorbets which would be a favourite for ladies with an acquired taste for sour stuff. There is even a "Apple and Kiwi" favour that is sugar-free and that will be great news for those who are a little health-conscious (why are they eating buffets in the first place? haha :p) that wants some guilt-free indulgence.

Ambience: 8
I like the area where diners have their private corner under purple lighting ( hidden on the right of the picture). The bench seats also have small cushions to add some comfort.

Value: 8
International buffet dinner with a price tag of $45++ is a steal especially with the quality of food. If you have a DBS/POSB credit card, there is a "1 guest dines for free with every 3 paying guests offer" till the end of 2010. Which equates to an astounding price of $33.75++ ($39.49) per person!!! The after-dinner coffee or tea is also free of charge.

Accessibility: 5
This place will not be that easy to reach unless you drive or take a cab. Then again even if you drove, you will have to traverse the maze of the RWS carpark to reach Hard Rock Hotel; which can be a nightmare for the uninitiated. Car park charges can also be on the high side.

Service: 7
Service is quite okay to me. The service staff in our IRs cannot be that bad, right?

Total Yummy Score: 36/50

Editor Notes: Excellent for small eaters with a preference for quality over variety of choice since they cannot eat that much anyway.
